HAPPY NEW MONTH: WELCOME TO APRIL — THE MONTH OF DIVINE VISITATION AND DELIVERANCE
Scripture:
Daniel 3:24–25 (KJV)
“Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
As we step into the fourth month of the year — April, our hearts overflow with gratitude to God Almighty who has preserved our lives to witness another beautiful beginning. The journey through the first quarter of the year may have come with challenges, victories, expectations, and lessons, but through it all, God has remained faithful.
April stands as a prophetic reminder in the life of every believer. The number four in biblical symbolism often represents divine intervention, stability, and God’s presence manifesting in the affairs of humanity. Therefore, this month carries with it a spiritual message — the manifestation of the Fourth Man in the fire.
The story recorded in the book of Daniel speaks about three young Hebrew men — Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego — who were thrown into a fiery furnace by King Nebuchadnezzar because they refused to bow to idols. They faced persecution not because they committed any crime, but because they chose to stand firm in their faith in the living God.
However, what was meant to destroy them became a platform for divine revelation. The king who ordered their execution suddenly became astonished. He expected to see three men consumed by fire, but instead he saw four men walking freely inside the flames, unharmed. The mysterious fourth figure looked “like the Son of God.”
This divine appearance changed everything.
The fire that was meant to kill them became powerless. The chains that bound them were burnt off, yet their bodies were untouched. Even the smell of smoke was not found on them. That is the power of divine visitation.
This story carries a powerful prophetic message for us as we enter the fourth month of the year.
Just like those Hebrew men, many people are currently passing through different forms of “fiery furnaces.” Some are facing financial hardship, some are battling health challenges, others are dealing with emotional pain, broken relationships, spiritual attacks, or uncertainties about the future.
At times, it may seem like the fire is too intense. The pressure of life may feel overwhelming, and hope may appear distant. But the message of Daniel chapter three reminds us that God never abandons His people in the fire.
Sometimes He does not prevent the fire — but He enters the fire with us.
The Fourth Man represents Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who appears in the midst of the believer’s trials to bring deliverance, protection, and victory.
Therefore, as we begin this month of April, I release a prophetic declaration over your life:
The Fourth Man will appear in your situation.
Where people expected your downfall, God will produce your testimony.
Where enemies predicted failure, God will establish victory.
Where the fire was meant to destroy you, it will instead refine you.
Just as the king saw four men walking freely in the furnace, every chain that once held you down will be destroyed in this season.
Chains of poverty will break.
Chains of stagnation will break.
Chains of delay will break.
Chains of disappointment will break.
The same fire that burnt the ropes of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will burn every limitation placed upon your destiny.
April shall become a month where divine surprises manifest.
You will walk through challenges but they will not consume you.
You will face obstacles but they will not defeat you.
You will encounter trials but they will produce testimonies.
God is about to turn situations around in ways that will shock those who doubted His power in your life.
The Bible says the king rose in haste because what he saw contradicted human expectations. In the same way, people who have written you off will rise in amazement when they witness what God is about to do for you.
Doors that looked permanently closed will open.
Opportunities that seemed impossible will become reality.
Miracles that appeared delayed will suddenly manifest.
This is your month of divine companionship.
You will not walk alone.
You will not fight alone.
You will not struggle alone.
The presence of God will accompany you in your decisions, your work, your family, your ministry, and every step you take this month.
Just as the three Hebrew men came out of the furnace without any harm, you too shall come out of every challenge stronger, wiser, and victorious.
Prophetic Prayer for the Month of April
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of a new month. We acknowledge that it is by Your mercy that we are alive today. As we step into this fourth month, we invite Your divine presence to walk with us.
Lord Jesus, the Fourth Man in the fire, appear in every situation confronting Your children. Wherever there is trouble, bring peace. Wherever there is confusion, release clarity. Wherever there is pain, release healing.
Father, let every fiery furnace prepared against Your people become a testimony of Your power. Let chains be broken and let deliverance manifest.
We declare that April will be a month of divine protection. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. No evil plan of the enemy shall succeed.
Let supernatural favour locate Your children. Let open doors replace closed doors. Let divine opportunities appear where there was once limitation.
We decree that sickness will not prevail this month. Failure will not prevail. Fear will not prevail. Instead, victory, joy, prosperity, and breakthroughs shall prevail.
Just as You walked with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fire, walk with us through every circumstance we encounter this month.
Let Your glory be revealed in our homes, our careers, our ministries, and our communities.
May this fourth month become a season of glorious testimonies.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.
