Egbema/Olodiama Development Association Adopts Dr. Odimientimi Agbedeyi as Sole Candidate for 2027 Edo Assembly Election

The Egbema/Olodiama Development Association (EODA) has officially adopted Dr. Odimientimi Agbedeyi, the National Rescue Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Ovia South-West Constituency, as its sole candidate for the 2027 Edo State House of Assembly election.
The declaration was made during the association’s monthly general meeting, where members unanimously endorsed Dr. Agbedeyi’s candidacy and pledged their unwavering support for his political aspiration.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the Chairman, Pastor Morris Sagbene, described Dr. Agbedeyi as a visionary leader whose commitment to the development, unity, and welfare of the Ijaw people in Edo State has earned him widespread admiration and respect.
According to Pastor Sagbene, the association recognizes Dr. Agbedeyi’s consistent advocacy for the interests of the entire Ijaw nation in Edo State and believes he possesses the competence, integrity, and leadership qualities required to effectively represent Ovia South-West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly.
He further disclosed that the association has resolved to mobilize support across Egbema and Olodiama communities and urged members to transfer their voter registration to Ovia South-West Local Government Area where necessary in preparation for the 2027 general election.
Other members who spoke at the meeting unanimously praised the good deeds, humanitarian contributions, and exemplary character of Dr. Odimientimi Agbedeyi. They described him as a dependable grassroots leader, community advocate, and unifying figure whose passion for the progress of the Ijaw people remains unwavering.
Among those who spoke were Mr. Bigha Alex, Mr. Ebimobo Eferusuoa, Mr. Return Otiri, Mr. Wallace Amafaye, Mrs. Enoch Borma, and Hon. Napoleon Yebu.
The speakers noted that Dr. Agbedeyi has consistently demonstrated selfless service, commitment to community development, and a strong desire to advance the collective interests of the people of Ovia South-West Constituency and the Ijaw nation in Edo State.
The association concluded the meeting with a unanimous vote of confidence in Dr. Odimientimi Agbedeyi and pledged to work collectively toward ensuring his victory in the 2027 Edo State House of Assembly election under the platform of the National Rescue Movement (NRM).
