United Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network Celebrates Niger Delta Leaders on Father’s Day

The leadership and members of the United Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (UNDAN), under the chairmanship of Engineer Temile Ebi, have extended warm Father’s Day felicitations to distinguished leaders and stakeholders whose contributions have significantly impacted the peace, stability, and development of the Niger Delta region.
In a goodwill message made available to the media, the group specifically congratulated and honored Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), Dennis Otuaro, Kestin Pondi, Matthew Tonlagha, Henry Binidodogha, and Robert Okubor, alongside all First, Second, and Third Phase Amnesty Generals across the Niger Delta.
According to Engineer Temile Ebi, Father’s Day is not only a celebration of biological fathers but also an opportunity to recognize men who have provided leadership, mentorship, protection, and guidance to their communities and the larger Niger Delta region.
The Network described Tompolo as a symbol of resilience and transformation whose efforts have contributed immensely to peace-building, maritime security, and economic stability within the oil-producing region. The group noted that his commitment to protecting critical national assets has helped strengthen confidence in the Niger Delta while creating opportunities for thousands of youths.
The delegates further commended Dennis Otuaro for his leadership of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, praising his dedication to youth empowerment, education, vocational training, and the reintegration of former agitators into productive ventures.
Kestin Pondi was equally applauded for his role in supporting initiatives aimed at regional security, youth engagement, and economic empowerment, while Matthew Tonlagha, Henry Binidodogha, Robert Okubor, and numerous Amnesty Generals were recognized for their individual and collective sacrifices toward sustaining peace and unity in the region.
Prayer for Long Life and Wisdom
The United Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network offered heartfelt prayers for all the honorees, asking God Almighty to grant them long life, good health, divine protection, and greater wisdom as they continue to serve humanity and advance the cause of the Niger Delta people.
The group specifically prayed that God would strengthen their resolve to promote unity among the diverse ethnic nationalities of the region and provide them with the vision needed to navigate emerging challenges.
“We pray that Almighty God will continue to preserve and bless these leaders with sound health, uncommon wisdom, and the courage to remain committed to the peace, progress, and prosperity of the Niger Delta. May they continue to be instruments of unity and development for our people,” the statement read.
Call for Unity
The organization also called on Niger Delta youths, ex-agitators, community leaders, women groups, and stakeholders to continue supporting initiatives that foster peace, dialogue, and sustainable development.
Engineer Temile Ebi emphasized that the future of the Niger Delta depends on collective efforts and a shared commitment to regional unity, economic growth, environmental justice, and youth empowerment.
