Amnesty Forum Issues Strong Warning: Stop Unfounded Accusations Against Dr. Dennis And GOC Tompolo
“The Niger Delta Needs Unity, Not Division” — Engr. Ebi Temile

The United Presidential Amnesty Forum has issued a strong appeal to leaders, beneficiaries, stakeholders and members of the Niger Delta community to immediately desist from making unsubstantiated accusations against Dr. Dennis and GOC Tompolo, warning that reckless allegations without credible evidence can create unnecessary division and undermine the collective interests of the region.
In a statement, the National President of the Forum, Engr. Ebi Temile, called on all concerned individuals to exercise restraint and responsibility in their public statements.
According to him, nobody should be wrongly accused or condemned without credible evidence. He stressed that disagreements and differences of opinion should never become an excuse for spreading claims capable of damaging relationships, creating confusion or undermining genuine efforts toward peace and development.
“We must stop making accusations without evidence. We are not doing ourselves any good when we attack our own leaders and stakeholders without facts. The Niger Delta needs unity, peace and responsible leadership.”
Support The Amnesty Programme And Its Beneficiaries
Engr. Temile further appealed to all leaders and beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme to support initiatives that promote education, empowerment, peace and human development.
He particularly acknowledged educational support associated with Dr. Dennis, including scholarship opportunities that have enabled students to pursue their studies within Nigeria and abroad.
The Forum believes that opportunities created through education and empowerment should be encouraged because the long-term development of the Niger Delta depends heavily on the education and advancement of its young people.
Support The Door2Door Movement
The National President also called on stakeholders and beneficiaries to support the Door2Door Movement and other legitimate initiatives aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement, unity and participation.
He urged beneficiaries not to allow personal differences or internal disagreements to overshadow the broader interests of the Niger Delta and the objectives of the Amnesty Programme.
An Appeal To Dr. Dennis And GOC Tompolo
In a message directed to Dr. Dennis and GOC Tompolo, Engr. Temile appealed for continued leadership, forgiveness and reconciliation.
He urged both leaders to forgive those who may have offended them and, where possible, bring divided parties together in the spirit of peace and progress.
“Leadership is not only about strength. True leadership is also about forgiveness, reconciliation and the ability to bring people together for a greater purpose.”
He said the current moment calls for leaders who can rise above personal differences and concentrate on issues that directly affect the people, particularly education, youth empowerment, peace, development and the future of the Niger Delta.
Enough Of The Politics Of Division
The Forum maintained that the Niger Delta cannot afford unnecessary division at a time when stakeholders should be working together to consolidate opportunities available to young people and beneficiaries.
Engr. Temile therefore urged all parties to replace rumours with facts, confrontation with dialogue and division with constructive engagement.
“If there are genuine concerns, let them be addressed through the appropriate channels and with verifiable facts. Let us not destroy one another with allegations that cannot be substantiated,” he stated.
He called on leaders and beneficiaries to remain united and to protect initiatives capable of producing meaningful opportunities for the people.
A Message To The Niger Delta
The United Presidential Amnesty Forum reaffirmed its commitment to peace, unity and the advancement of the interests of Amnesty Programme beneficiaries.
Engr. Temile concluded with a direct appeal:
“Let us build, not destroy. Let us unite, not divide. Let us encourage education, empowerment and peace. And let us support every genuine effort that gives our young people a better future.”
He prayed for continued wisdom and strength for Dr. Dennis, GOC Tompolo and all Niger Delta leaders, and called on stakeholders to work together in the interest of peace and development.
