EGBEMA NATIONAL PRESIDENTS FORUM BACKS TOMPOLO DOOR-TO-DOOR MOVEMENT, DECLARES “OPERATION GO AND WIN YOUR UNIT”

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE — The National Presidents Forum of Egbema Communities has declared its support for the Tompolo Door-to-Door Movement, with the National President of Gbeoba Community, Ebierin Ogigigba, calling on supporters across Egbema communities in Edo and Delta States to take the campaign directly to their respective polling units.
Ebierin delivered the message during the recent PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign mobilisation in Benin City, where Gen. Ogidigba Godstime Ogidigba, National Chairman of the Amnesty Delegates Forum, coordinated leaders of various Ijaw communities from Edo State.
The event also featured the participation of Pastor Rubben Wilson, South-South Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign, and High Chief Ebipade Kari, alongside community and traditional leaders from Olodiama, Egbema and other Ijaw communities.
In a message titled “Operation Go and Win Your Unit,” Ebierin, who represented the national presidents of Egbema communities, expressed confidence in the Door-to-Door Movement and urged its supporters to translate the momentum generated at the Benin City gathering into sustained grassroots mobilisation.
“OPERATION GO AND WIN YOUR UNIT”
According to Ebierin, supporters of the movement in all Egbema communities across Edo and Delta States should return to their communities and take responsibility for their respective polling units.
He described the assignment as “Operation Go and Win Your Unit,” charging supporters to mobilise at the grassroots and work toward securing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and High Chief Ebipade Kari.
He also called on supporters to extend their mobilisation to other APC candidates contesting the 2027 elections.
The message, as delivered by Ebierin, placed particular emphasis on the importance of grassroots organisation, community engagement and effective coordination at the polling-unit level.
EBIERIN PRAISES TOMPOLO, OGIDIGBA AND EBIPADE KARI
Ebierin also praised the efforts of Tompolo, High Chief Ebipade Kari, Gen. Godstime Ogidigba and other critical Ijaw stakeholders who were present at the meeting.
He acknowledged their contributions to the mobilisation and encouraged supporters to sustain the momentum through active engagement within their respective communities.
The statement came during an event that brought together a broad representation of Ijaw community leadership.
Among those identified as participating in the Benin City mobilisation were Hon. Famous Baje, leader of Ikoro Community; Hon. Kororo Desmond, leader of Gelegele Gbene Community; Hon. Idolor Sunday, leader of Inikorogha Community; Comrade Godwin Asama, leader of Igbiloba Community; and Hon. David Osia, leader of Tolofa Community, all in Egbema Kingdom.
Also present were Hon. Samuel Uroupa, leader of Ofunama Community; Hon. Ogidigba Ebierin, leader of Gbeuba Community; Comrade Ebitebe Obeha, representing Ajakurama Community; and Richard Tunfabor, who led the Abere Community delegation from Egbema Kingdom.
Traditional and community figures at the gathering included HRH Binidodogha Henry, also known as Egbema I, and High Chief Omoh Tonwerigha.
“NO BLACKMAIL AGAINST TOMPOLO WILL SUCCEED”
Addressing the issue of criticism and allegations directed at Tompolo, Ebierin declared that, in his view, “no blackmail against Tompolo will succeed.”
He called on those he accused of attempting to blackmail Tompolo to desist, adding that continued attacks would, in his words, attract the “wrath of the gods of the Ijaw Nation.”
The remarks were part of Ebierin’s address at the gathering and represent his stated position. GlobalEgberiTV Ofunama has not independently verified any particular allegation of blackmail referred to in his remarks.
CALL FOR EGBEMA-WIDE MOBILISATION
The Egbema National Presidents Forum’s intervention places renewed emphasis on the role of community leadership in grassroots political mobilisation across the riverine communities of Edo and Delta States.
Through the “Operation Go and Win Your Unit” message, Ebierin urged supporters not to depend solely on major rallies, but to build strong community-level structures and maintain direct contact with voters within their respective areas.
He called for unity of purpose among supporters and urged them to take the campaign message to the grassroots.
BENIN CITY MEETING BRINGS IJAW LEADERS TOGETHER
The Benin City event provided a platform for leaders from different Ijaw communities to interact with the campaign leadership and discuss grassroots mobilisation.
Pastor Rubben Wilson, the South-South Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign, and High Chief Ebipade Kari addressed the gathering, while Gen. Godstime Ogidigba coordinated the participation of the various Ijaw community leaders.
The intervention by Ebierin subsequently added the voice of the Egbema National Presidents Forum to the political mobilisation taking place among the participating communities.
“GO AND WIN YOUR UNIT”
For Ebierin Ogigigba, the message to supporters was direct: take the mobilisation from the campaign venue back to the communities.
His “Operation Go and Win Your Unit” declaration therefore emerged as the central theme of his intervention, with supporters urged to organise, mobilise and engage at the grassroots across Egbema communities in Edo and Delta States.
