Niger Delta leaders, traditional rulers, human rights activists and other prominent stakeholders have joined family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the 61st birthday anniversary of Mrs. Eyesan Oritseme-Oyetewa, the Chief Executive Officer (CCE) of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
In a special birthday message signed by prominent personalities from across the Niger Delta, the celebrants described Mrs. Eyesan Oritseme-Oyetewa as a dearly beloved daughter, sister, mother, leader and distinguished public servant, while commending her leadership qualities and contributions to Nigeria’s upstream petroleum sector.
LEADERS COMMEND HER LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISM
The Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders particularly highlighted what they described as Mrs. Oritseme-Oyetewa’s exemplary leadership qualities, humility, diligence, accommodating spirit and accessibility during her tenure as CCE of NUPRC.
According to the signatories, her service over the past nine months has demonstrated her intellectual capacity, professionalism and ability as a visionary leader.
They further commended her commitment to duty and her contributions toward the development and regulation of Nigeria’s upstream petroleum industry.
The group noted that her role at the helm of the country’s upstream petroleum regulatory institution places significant responsibilities on her, particularly at a time when the sector remains central to Nigeria’s economy and national development.
